WorkSafeBC advises that: i) Pharmaceutical grade glucosamine sulphate is reasonably used in WCB accepted knee and probably hip joint osteoarthritis injuries/diseases. ii) Until Health Canada provides glucosamine manufacturers/distributors with their product approval, the WCB should not be approving nor paying for its use.
