Workers Compensation Act
The Workers Compensation Amendment Act, 2020 (Bill 23) eliminated the mandated 90-day waiting period before amendments to Schedule 1 approved by the Board of Directors came into effect. As a result, amendments to Schedule 1 regarding infections caused by communicable viral pathogens took effect August 20, 2020.
