Workers Compensation Act

A revised version of the Workers Compensation Act came into effect on April 6, 2020. The changes include a reorganization of the Act's components, revised wording in some sections, and deletion of provisions that have been repealed or are no longer needed. Although all section numbers have changed, the revisions do not change B.C.'s laws concerning workers' compensation, occupational health and safety, or employers' assessment premiums.
