Who are we?

WorkSafeBC serves approximately 2.49 million workers and 263,000 employers in our province, promoting healthy and safe workplaces across B.C. We partner with workers and employers to save lives and prevent injury, disease, and disability. When work-related injuries or diseases occur, we provide compensation and support to people in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work.

We're transforming our technology infrastructure by adopting a responsive and adaptive approach and moving to cloud-based delivery systems. Our Innovation and Technology division aims to create highly engaged teams to unlock new solutions, increase transparency, improve flexibility and responsiveness; while also managing risks and costs, and ensuring that our systems are stable, secure, and reliable.

Our promise is to make a difference to people in British Columbia — one worker, one employer, one workplace at a time. Every day, the work we do as an organization impacts people and changes lives.
