Potential mail disruptions due to wildfires

To ensure public safety and a coordinated response to the wildfires across British Columbia, the Province of B.C. has declared a state of emergency. WorkSafeBC is monitoring the situation to ensure our ability to provide services to workers, providers, and employers around the province.

Service disruptions

If you are a displaced worker who is awaiting payment from WorkSafeBC, please call our offices in Prince George or Terrace and our staff will help you.

  • Terrace: 250.615.6651 or toll-free 1.888.967.5377, extension 6651

Receiving payment by direct deposit

Workers and providers are encouraged to sign up for direct deposit to ensure that you will continue to receive payments from us.

Workers can call our Claims Call Centre at 1.888.967.5377 for assistance with receiving their payments through direct deposit.

Providers should complete the Request for Direct Deposit form for providers.

Reporting payroll or paying premiums

If you're an employer who is affected by the wildfires in B.C. and have questions about reporting your payroll or paying your premiums, please call our Employer Service Centre at 1.888.922.2768 and our staff will help you.

Sign up for online services

Consider signing up for our online services to report payroll and pay premiums online and take advantage of many other account management services. For example, you can add a payment method, change contact information, add Personal Optional Protection, and more. Learn more.
