Occupational Health and Safety Regulation amendments approved by the Board of Directors in July 2006
The Board of Directors approved amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation in July 2006. These approved amendments relate to the public hearings conducted in May 2006.
The Board of Directors also approved an additional public hearing in the fall of 2006, as part of the 2006 regulatory process, to consider expanding the scope of the requirements in Part 6, Substance Specific Requirements, to include safety-engineered devices for all hollow-bore needles and other medical sharps.
