RESOLUTION OF THE PANEL OF ADMINISTRATORS
Re: Miscellaneous Amendment to the Occupational health and Safety Regulation section 26.67(6)
Pursuant to section 225(1) of the Workers Compensation Act, R.S.B.C 1996, c. 492 and amendments thereto (the "Act"), the Workers' Compensation Board (the "Board") may make regulations the Board considers necessary or advisable in relation to occupational health and safety and occupational environment;
The Occupational Health and Safety Regulation ("OHSR") pertains to occupational health and safety and occupational environment;
The Board, pursuant to its mandate under the Act, has proposed an amendment to the OHSR and has given notice of the proposed amendment and held a public hearing on the proposed amendment to the OSHR in accordance with section 226(1) of the Act;
The Panel of Administrators (the "Panel"), after due consideration of all the presentations to the Board, considers it necessary and advisable in accordance with the Board's mandate under the Act in relation to occupational health and safety and occupational environment to amend the OHSR by repealing section 26.67(6);
THE PANEL OF ADMINISTRATORS RESOLVES THAT:
DATED at Richmond, British Columbia, December 14, 2001.
- The Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, B.C. Reg. 296/97 is amended by repealing section 26.67(6).
- The above amendment to the OHSR will be deposited with the Registrar of Regulations in such form as may be required by the Registrar.
- The above amendment to the OHSR will come into force 90 days after its deposit under the Regulation Act.
