Consumer Price Index adjustments

Consumer Price Index adjustments - Clothing Allowances
Date: July 12, 2005


Section 25.2 of the Workers Compensation Act ("Act") requires some dollar figures in the Act to be adjusted by the Board annually according to changes in the Consumer Price Index.

Apart from the figures in the Act, the policies of the Board contain various dollar allowances or amounts. With regard to clothing allowances, these amounts are adjusted on July 1 of each year in accordance with the Consumer Price Index. (policy item #79.00 of the Rehabilitation Services and Claims Manual)

As a result, the rates set out below are effective July 1, 2005:
