Policy decision finalized at the May 2009 WorkSafeBC Board of Directors meeting

The following Resolution was finalized by WorkSafeBC's Board of Directors in March 2009. For information about the function and mandate of the Board of Directors, please see Governing Structure.

Board Officer and Other References

On May 13, 2009, the Board of Directors approved changes to various policies in the Rehabilitation Services and Claims Manual, Volume II (“RS&CM”) to:

  • remove references to specific job titles and departments and to replace them with the term “the Board” as is used in the legislation;
  • remove references to former appellate bodies; and
  • update references to external government agencies.

These amendments come into effect on June 1, 2009.
