Policy decision finalized at the November 2008 WorkSafeBC Board of Directors meeting
The following Resolution was finalized by WorkSafeBC's Board of Directors in November 2008. For information about the function and mandate of the Board of Directors, please see Governing Structure.
Multiple Classification
On November 4, 2008, the Board of Directors approved amendments to Item
AP1-37-2 of the Assessment Manual. The amendments clarify how WorkSafeBC assigns classification units to firms who conduct business in multiple industrial activities.
The amendments come into effect on January 1, 2009 and apply to all decisions made on or after that date.
