Policy decisions finalized at the October, 2003 WCB Board of Directors meetings
The following resolutions were finalized by the WCB Board of Directors in October 2003. For information about the function and mandate of the Board of Directors, please see Governing Structure.
Retirement of Workers' Compensation Reporter Decisions
The Board of Directors has approved the retirement from policy status of 81 Decisions from volumes 1 - 6 (Decisions 1 - 423) of the Workers' Compensation Reporter, effective October 21, 2003.
The retirement of these Decisions will eliminate multiple sources of policy, thereby reducing confusion about rights and responsibilities and complexity in the workers compensation system. With this most recent phase of the retirement process, 379 of the 423 Decisions have been retired from policy status, and 44 remain to be considered.
