The Policy and Regulation Division’s (“PRD”) workplans cover Compensation and Occupational Disease, Assessment, Occupational Health & Safety Regulation Review and Prevention Policy.
The PRD anticipates that issues will arise during the year that will require immediate attention. It is intended that policy and regulation work will focus on the approved workplans but will require adjustment to address immediate concerns as required. Issues that arise during the year will be referred to the Priorities and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors for decision as to whether or not to add the issue to the workplan and the priority of the issue.
Workplans are subject to annual review by external and internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors.
