Workplans
The Policy and Research Division's ("PRD") workplans cover Claims Management (Rehabilitation, Compensation and Occupational Disease), Assessment, Occupational Health & Safety Regulation Review and Prevention Policy.
The PRD anticipates that issues will arise during the year that will require immediate attention. It is intended that policy and regulation work will focus on the approved workplans but will require adjustment to address immediate concerns as required. Issues that arise during the year will be referred to the Priorities and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors for decision as to whether or not to add the issue to the workplan and the priority of the issue.
Workplans are subject to annual reviews by external and internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors.

Policy and Practice Consultative Commitee ("PPCC")
The PPCC holds monthly meetings to review policy, regulation, and practice development projects. A monthly status report provides a list of the items reviewed, the most recent date of their review, and their current status. You can also review items completed prior to December 31, 2006.
The PRD awards research grants through the Research Secretariat.
