Policy and regulation development
Policy and regulation development are cornerstones of governance at WorkSafeBC and are the responsibility of WorkSafeBC's Board of Directors.
The Policy and Regulation Division ("PRD") advises the Board of Directors on policy and regulation development issues.
In preparing policy proposals for the Board's consideration, the PRD consults with a variety of stakeholders, including employer and labour representatives, scientific and legal experts, and the various divisions of WorkSafeBC.
