Bill 18, Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act, 2004

The Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act, 2004 passed third reading in the provincial legislature on April 27, 2004. Key amendments include:

  • Providing the authority to delegate the Chief Review Officer's powers and duties, effective April 29, 2004.
  • Various changes to Part 4 - Appeals, that extend equal appeal rights to workers, dependants and employers involved in the fishing industry. These amendments will be effective on June 15, 2004.
