When a firm moves business operations or assets to another firm, experience transfer policy allows WorkSafeBC (the Workers' Compensation Board) to consider transferring the experience of the original firm to the successor firm. This can have a significant impact on the successor firm's assessment premiums. The Policy and Research Division has developed a discussion paper on Experience Transfer Policy Changes (PDF 155kb) for consideration by stakeholders.
Stakeholders are invited to review the discussion paper and provide feedback by April 26, 2005.
