Change of Classification Policy
The Policy and Regulation Development Bureau has developed a discussion paper (PDF 122kb) on the topic of possible amendments to published policy about changes to an employer's classification. There are three published policy items in the Assessment Manual involved. The three policy items are:
- AP1-37-3, Classification - Changes
- AP1-37-2, Classification - Multiple
- AP1-42-3, Transfer of Experience Rating.
Your are invited to review the paper and provide comments to the Bureau by September 19, 2003.

Opinions expressed by stakeholders will be brought to the attention of the WCB's governing body, the Board of Directors, before it adopts any amendments to the current policies.

The identity of those who have participated on their own behalf will be kept confidential according to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
