Business-to-Business Services

Our business-to-business services are designed for employers or software vendors to electronically transmit the following information to WorkSafeBC:

  • Employer's Report of Injury or Occupational Disease (Form 7)
  • Payroll reporting
  • Electronic payment files

New partners must register for the services and go through a thorough testing process with the web services. When you register as a partner, you'll be assigned a unique security token and asked to supply WorkSafeBC with the IP address from which the web service will be called.

Employer's Report of Injury or Occupational Disease (Form 7)

Partners developing applications for submitting the Employer's Report of Injury (Form 7) using ISSv.3 web services should refer to the technical specifications below. The specifications describe the fields that must be included, the XML format that the data must conform to, and the web service protocols for transmission.

Employers who have applications that can submit the Employer’s Report of Injury (Form 7) through a business-to-business web service should contact our Customer Support Centre at 604 276-3135 or toll-free at 1 888 855-2477 or e-mail ehelp@worksafebc.com. Please provide the name of your firm, your account number, a contact name and e-mail address, and the static IP address from which the web service will be called.

Payroll reporting

Partners developing applications to submit employers' payroll information electronically using PSP web services should refer to the technical specifications below.
