Richmond, B.C. , January 22, 2004 The Workers' Compensation Board will hold a public hearing to seek comment from the public about proposed amendments to B.C.'s occupational health and safety regulations.
The proposed amendments are part of the WCB's ongoing review process to ensure regulations are current and provide regulatory protection to workers from workplace injury and occupational disease. The amendments relate to the following:
People's views may be presented orally at the hearing locations and/or in writing. The hearing locations and dates are:

Session times run from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Interested parties may also provide written submissions. The deadline for receipt of written submissions is 4:30 p.m., on Friday, April 16, 2004. Submissions can be made by mail, e-mail, fax, or by delivery to the public hearing location.
