Coroner’s inquest into 2007 farm worker fatalities begins
Richmond, B.C., December 4, 2009 —The inquest into the deaths of three farm workers following a motor vehicle incident near Abbotsford in March 2007 is scheduled to begin December 7. WorkSafeBC’s investigation (PDF 2.5mb), which was publicly released in 2008, will form part of the evidence presented to the inquest jury to help it determine the facts surrounding the deaths and make recommendations to prevent deaths in similar circumstances.
