Richmond, B.C., June 15, 2009—WorkSafeBC and Classic Rock 101 partner to raise awareness about construction safety.
This summer, once again, WorkSafeBC is partnering with Classic Rock 101 to raise awareness about construction-worker safety in B.C. ― the Bro Jake way. The motto of the Rock 101 campaign is: “I’m the Bro… you’re the pro.”
The Construction Safety Network, the Construction Safety Association of BC, WorkSafeBC, and Classic Rock 101 have partnered to encourage construction workers in the Lower Mainland to keep safety top of mind when they step onto the worksite.
But the campaign is more than just a message about safety. From June 22 to July 19, listeners will be invited to submit their company's on-site safety strategies — or any innovative safety ideas they’ve implemented in their workplace — to the Rock 101 web site.
Everyone who makes a submission has a chance to win great prizes, which will be drawn by Bro Jake throughout the campaign. Win the coveted Bro Jake stamp, and Jake, the Rock 101 team, and WorkSafeBC will visit your worksite with lunch for the entire crew, music, and fabulous prizes.
