Mental Health Network Educational Sessions

WorkSafeBC-contracted mental health treatment, assessment, and file review providers are invited to attend a one-day educational seminar. The session will cover the principles of psychological and neuropsychological assessment, and treatment, within the framework of WorkSafeBC Disability Management. Sessions will be held on February 1 in Richmond, February 7 in Victoria, and February 14 in Kelowna.

Steep Slope Roofing Conference

In partnership with the Roofing Contractors Association of B.C. (RCABC) and the B.C. Construction Safety Alliance, and supported by Hazmasters, and Ono Work and Safety, WorkSafeBC is hosting a one-day safety workshop for those employed in the steep slope roofing industry.

Roofers, supervisors, estimators, inspectors, and suppliers will benefit from sessions covering safety responsibilities, fall protection planning and procedures, and onsite inspections. There will also be an equipment demonstration, and a panel discussion.

The $25 registration fee includes lunch, safety resource materials, a voucher for a free RCABC fall protection course, and a discount on fall protection equipment. Register early as space is limited.
