The BC Safety Council’s Health & Safety Summit series stops in Langley, B.C. from December 2 to 5, 2008 at the Coast Hotel and Convention Centre. The Council has been travelling throughout B.C. offering their safety programs.
The program includes: Contractor/Owner Responsibilities, Safety Skills 4 Supervisors, Confined Space Awareness, Fall Protection, Risk Assessment, Accident Investigations, and Hazard Avoidance Tactics.
Students and faculty are invited to attend the opening ceremonies’ Impacts and Outcomes – Safety in your Community, as well as the Top 10 Safety Tips to Keep You and Your Family Safe, Experiences of a Young Worker, Dangers Facing B.C.’s Young Workers, and Young Driver Safety sessions free of charge (lunch is included).
