vocational rehabilitation consultant
Board officers who provide assistance to clients unable to return to their former employment because of a disability resulting from a compensable injury. Once a referral is received, the consultant conducts an initial assessment with the worker to develop a return-to-work plan. The plan may involve such activities as vocational testing, functional assessment, workplace modifications, job search assistance, on-the-job or classroom training, and work assessments.
