Protecting yourself from ticks

Ticks are tiny insects that live in tall grass and wooded areas and may carry bacteria, parasites, or viruses. Tick bites can lead to serious illness, such as Lyme disease. This bulletin describes which workers are most at risk of tick bites, what to do if a tick bites you, and how you can protect yourself.
