WorkSafeBC is pleased to offer you the option of automatically receiving your WorkSafeBC benefit payments in your bank account, by means of an electronic funds transfer system called Direct Deposit.
The benefits of Direct Deposit
- It's reliable — your payment will always be on time, and you can start using the money and earning interest right away.
- It's secure — there's no risk that your payment will be lost, stolen or damaged.
- If you're sick, on vacation or travelling, you will still get your payment automatically.
- It can save you time by reducing your trips to the bank and helping you avoid long lines at tellers or ATMs.
- It's confidential, since there's no cheque and therefore no one else can see how much money you receive.
- It's environmentally friendly because it requires less paper and helps save our forests.
- You only need to apply once. Any and all future WorkSafeBC benefits will automatically be deposited to your account.
