Take your occupational hygiene experience and make a meaningful contribution to the community. As an occupational hygiene officer, you will:
- Ensure compliance with relevant occupational regulations and assist industry in reducing workplace injuries and occupational diseases
- Plan and implement inspections in firms and industries
- Issue compliance and closure orders
- Implement biological monitoring programs
- Investigate accidents and claims
- Attend coroners’ inquests
- Conduct educational programs and make recommendations for regulatory amendments
With an undergraduate technical science degree (chemistry, biochemistry, biology or chemical engineering), you also have specialist knowledge of industrial hygiene principles/practices, health sciences, and technical sciences. Eligibility for ROH or CIH certification is also expected.

- A salary ranging from $65,876 - $83,143
- A 36.25 hour flexible-hour Monday to Friday work week
