Working in a team-based environment and collaborating with adjudicative staff and community physicians, you will provide advice on the medical aspects of workplace injury claims. You will assist in developing individual care/return-to-work plans and examine injured workers. You should be prepared to emphasize evidence-based practices.
Eligible for full licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC, you have experience in Family Practice and perhaps additional qualifications in Sports Medicine, Occupational Medicine or Rehabilitation Medicine. You should enjoy working in a team environment where collaboration with both adjudicative staff and community physicians is required. Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office and electronic files would be an asset.
