Claims Registration (CRT) establishes new claims in the claims registration system. Claim-related documents received as images or in paper form are correctly identified and registered as new claims, or placed on existing claim files. CRT also maintains and updates claims records stored on the mainframe system.
As CRT operator, you’ll act as the first point of contact for injured workers, employers, the medical community, and advocates contacting WorkSafeBC. You’ll handle incoming and outgoing routine claims inquiries, perform a variety of duties associated with the allocation of claims according to specified guidelines, enter and retrieve claims-related information via a computer remote terminal, and perform other related duties as assigned.
