Clinical Specialist OT

As clinical specialist OT (part of Special Care Services ― the unit responsible for case management of all new/most existing severely injured workers' claims), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Conducting home accessibility assessments, and writing reports
  • Conducting research complementary to clinical work
  • Participating actively in program development
  • Providing education, including in-services, lectures, seminars, and workshops
  • Acting as a clinical resource within Special Care Services
  • Liaising with/supervising external providers, ensuring injured workers are afforded quality goods and services
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

As a qualified candidate for this position, you’ll ideally possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and organize a challenging and variable workload, both independently and as part of a team
  • Identify and achieve overall established goals while dealing with changing priorities
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
